25  | 梁生寫完，自己默誦了一遍，大是得意，納了卷子，出了朝門，回至柳府，把文字錄出，等柳公回來呈與觀看。柳公極口稱贊，以為必掇高魁。夢蘭看了，也料道必捷。但恐其中有命，文齊未必福齊，乃私喚錢乳娘，到門首去聽一個讖兒。錢嫗領命，走至門首，祇見兩個人在門首走過，後面那人對前面那人道：「你要問時，祇看那大橋堍下月餅店招牌便是。」原來前面那人要問賣月餅的張家住在何處，故後面那人答他這句話。錢嫗出來，恰好聽著了這二句。正在驚疑，卻值老蒼頭梁忠走來，錢嫗便把聽讖之意說與知道，教他去橋堍下看月餅店招牌。梁忠聽說，便望大橋邊走去，果見橋堍下有個月餅店。此時天色已暮，店前所掛招牌已取放櫃上豎著，那招牌上本來有十個字，乃是： |
