| 2 | 臣等謹案：《山堂肆考》二百二十八卷，《補遺》十二卷，明彭大翼撰。大翼字雲舉，又字一鶴，●州人。是書萬厯乙未廖自伸序，稱其冠軍諸生者廿有餘年，竟不得一登賢書。其弟大翺序，則稱其宦游百粤，凌儒序亦稱其浩然解組，杜門海上。則又嘗●仕籍。其嘗為何官則不可得詳矣。據卷端凡例，是書成於萬厯乙未，浸淫散佚越二十餘年。至萬厯己未，其孫壻張幼學乃尋繹舊聞，踵事増定，遂成完帙。則幼學又有所附，益不盡大翼之舊本也。按焦竑序作於乙未，已稱幼學增定，與凡例不符，疑坊本翻刻訛已為乙。凡分宮、商、角、徵、羽五集，如趙璘《因話録》例。然璘書於五音之義各有所取。大翼此書，則臣職一門，割●、宮商二集親屬一門，割●、商角二集無所分別，特以紀其部帙，如甲稿、乙稿之類而已。中分四十五門，門又各分子目，大致與他類書相等。惟《卉原訓草》而以草卉標題，似乎字複。然考沈約詩有勿言草卉賤，幸宅天地中」語，則自有出典，未可議也。又道教、神仙分為二部，與他類書亦稍別。考《漢志》道家、神仙家原自分別，則亦古義矣。所收雖多掇拾羣籍，不盡採自本書，而網羅繁富，存之亦足備考焉。乾隆四十六年十月恭校上。 |
