《卷六十九》

7	漢主龑寢疾，以其子秦王洪度、晉王洪熙皆驕恣，少子越王洪昌龑，諸子名俱依歐《史》輯。孝謹有智識，與右僕射王翷謀，龑曰：「吾子孫不肖，後世如鼠入牛角，當漸小爾！」因泣下歔欷。欲出洪度、洪熙而立洪昌。會崇文使蕭益入問疾，以其事訪之，益曰：「立嫡以長，違之必亂」。乃止。龑為人辯察多權術，好自矜大，嘗謂中國天子為洛州刺史」，窮奢極麗，悉聚南海珍寶，以為玉堂珠殿。困刑慘酷，有灌鼻、割舌、支解、刳剔、炮炙、烹蒸之法。或聚毒蛇水中，以罪人投之，謂之水獄。每視殺人，則不勝其喜，不覺朶頤垂涎吥呷，人以為真蛟蜃也。末年尤精忌，以士人多為子孫計，故專任宦者，由是其國宦者大盛。及殂，洪度即位，更名玢，以洪熙輔政。
