《卷三 山语》
1  | 五指山，在琼海中。亭亭直立，上叅霄汉，若端人正笏峩冠之象。以故琼州诸邑，多出瓖玮卓特士。五指而外，又有小五指。馀崚嶒截嶪，若琼山、白石诸岭，皆其支派也。迤𨓦而来，至邱文庄、王尚书弘诲所居之左，有马鞍冈，与文笔、金鸡二山，错立掩映。文笔从平地特起，高数百仞，天色晴霁，輙有苍烟一道，界破碧空，若天门华表。岁多科第，则吐光如炬。王尚书诗云：「不知浩溔中，地脉潜何寄。突然五指伸，复此擎一臂。」繇文笔渡清溪而西，为金鸡岭。尝有金鸡飞鸣其上，故名。苏子瞻诗：「人间文笔无双士，天上金鸡第一星。」至今文士举者，多以酉科。 |
