17  | 受小球大球，為下國綴旒，何天之休。傳球，玉；綴，表；旒，章也。箋綴，猶結也。旒，旌旗之垂者也。休，美也。湯既為天所命，則受小玉，謂尺二寸圭也；受大玉，謂珽也，長三尺。執圭搢珽，以與諸侯會同，結定其心，如旌旗之旒縿著焉，擔負天之美譽，為眾所歸鄉。不競不絿，不剛不柔，敷政優優，百祿是遒。傳絿，急也。優優，和也。遒，聚也。箋競，逐也。不逐，不與人爭前後。 |
