16  | 焦氏《易林、西京，文辭也。辭皆古韻，與《毛詩》、《楚辭》叶音相合，或似詩，或似樂府童謡。觀者但以占卜書視之，過矣，如「夾河為昏，期至無舩，揺心失望，不見所歡，如三驪負衡，南取芝香，秋蘭芬馥，利我少姜，如●●齧齧」，貧鬼相責，無有懽怡，一日九結，如三夫共妻，莫適為雌子，無姓氏父不可知其辭古雅，魏晉以後，詩人莫及。又如憂思約帶，即古詩「去家日以逺衣帶，日以緩也，而以四字盡之，如「簮短帶長」，尤為奥妙簮短」，即《毛詩》「首如飛蓬也，帶長即衣帶，日以緩」也「兩詩意，但以四字盡之，解「我胸舂」即毛詩，「憂心如𢷬也」，影畧用之，最為𤣥妙。且其辭古之文人亦多用之，六目暌暌。韓文祖之曰：「萬目暌暌，九鴈列陣」，王勃滕王閣序用之「酒」為歡伯，「白雲如帶，穴蟻封戸，天將大雨」，唐詩多用之。他如雌鸑生雕」，又「文山鴻豹，肥腯多脂」，「鴇」名「鴻豹，以鴇善食「鴻」為「鴻之豹，猶言魚鷹也。以僅見此，可補《爾雅》。其云「㑂如旦，饑」即詩「惄如調饑」，據韓詩作「朝饑」，言「朝饑難忍也，此云旦饑，葢與韓《詩》合，可證調饑為朝饑無疑也。其云大樹之子」百條共母當夏六月枝葉盛茂鸞鳳以庇召伯逰暑避暑也，此即用詩。「甘棠事逰暑憇甘棠」，葢古說如此。今《注》謂召伯聽訟于甘棠之下，成周之時，制度文物備矣，豈有以召伯之貴而坐于甘棠樹下者乎？逰暑之說，葢近于人情物理也。其曰舜登大禹、石夷之野，又可證禹生石紐村之事。此皆有禆於經史，又不但為脩辭之助而已。邊孝先。 |
