1  | 王藩者，廬江人也。吳時為中侍，善術数，傳劉洪乾象歷，依乾象法而論渾天，曰，前儒旧說，天地之體，狀如鳥卵，天包地外，猶殼之裹黃也，周旋無端，其形渾渾，故曰渾天也。周天三百六十五度，五百八十二分度之百四十五半，半覆地上，半在地下。其二端謂之南極、北極。北極出度三十六度，南極入地亦三十六度，兩極相去一百八十二度半強。繞北極經七十二度，常見不隱，謂之上規，繞南極七十二度，常隱不見，謂之下規。赤道橫絡，為之中規，赤道帶天之紘，兩極各九十一度少強。 |
| 14 | 候影法，先定南北正，樹八尺表為勾，股一丈四尺。按其曆氣，日中視影，與曆合則吉，不合則凶。日影中年短於氣曆舊影，則為日行上道。與曆同，為行中道。長於舊影，為行下道。行上道太平，行中道昇平，行下道為霸世也。 |
