253  | 又嘉靖十六年四月，巡撫御史蘇叢禮於孝子王相之廬。相，滁州衛人，早喪父，母賈氏寡，委曲奉事得其歡。母衰老畏寒，相溫枕簟不替垂十餘年。冬深寒甚，常橫臥床笫，取母足加腹燠。後賈齒盡落，不能啜，含哺哺之。病遺矢簀上，必自掬滌。其喪毀剝，不勝朝夕，號出入告殯。及葬，自起塚，日奉飲食，跽墓獻哭。噫！慨焉如弗及。胡松曰：孟子有言，狂狷不可必得，故又思其次。末世俗靡，士或迷方，輕薄謥滶，去道遠而能操、秉一行久不易者，蓋亦鮮也。王相不知書，其所自盡士或不能逮，雖其天質之美，良其風軌，所被可以興矣。昌黎云"無亦使其無傳焉」，餘是以述之。 |
