2  | 周孟陽春卿，英廟宮僚也，聖眷素厚，書簡以老丈稱之。當儲副時固辭不就，而魏公亟欲定大計，使人誚春卿，春卿因造臥內諭意。時裕陵秉燭侍立。上曰：「所以不就者，避禍也。」春卿曰：「今日之事，太尉豈不知？若果不就，必當別立他人，太尉能避禍乎？」上大悟，即拜春卿牀下，遂正儲位。裕陵在東宮，朝廷復以春卿為翼善。春卿為人純直，謂不當為父子宮僚，上表力辭，有「親奉堯言，躬承禹拜」之句。魏公怒曰：「不易丙吉。」初，朝廷闕副樞，人以春卿必膺是命，已而寢不報。迨裕陵即位，孫永述其事，始進天章閣待制，入謝，上撫慰甚厚。未幾，以疾終，家貧不克葬，露殯佛寺。元祐御史賈易請依王雱例中使護葬，宣仁曰：「待其子來。」子定民至，盡哀。英廟所賜御札上之，賜銀千兩，官其一孫。 |
