《卷一百九文谢之死》
10  | 二十六年夏四月，福建参知政事魏天佑执宋谢枋得至燕，不屈，死之。初，天佑见时方以求才为急，欲荐枋得为功，使其友赵孟𨓴诱枋得入城。与之言，坐而不对，或嫚言无礼。天佑不能堪，乃让曰「封疆之臣当死封疆，安仁之败何以不死」枋得曰「程婴、公孙杵臼二人皆忠于赵，一死于十五年之前，一死于十五年之后，万世之下，皆不失为忠臣。王莽篡汉十四年，龚胜乃饿死，亦不失为忠臣。司马子长云：死有重于泰山，有轻于鸿毛。参政岂足知此」天佑怒，逼之北行。枋得以死自誓，自离嘉兴即不食，二十馀日不死，乃复食。既渡采石，惟茹少蔬果，积数月，困殆。是月朔日，至燕，问太后攒所及瀛国所在，再拜，恸哭。已而疾甚，迁悯忠寺。见壁间曹娥碑，泣曰「小女子犹尔，吾岂不汝若哉，」留梦炎使医持药杂米饮进之，枋得怒，掷之于地。不食五日，死。子定之获骸骨，归葬信州。 |
