95  | 巨毋覇王莾，夙夜連率韓博上言，有竒士長一丈，大十圍，來至臣府，曰欲奮擊匃奴，自謂巨母覇出於蓬萊東南五城，西北昭如海，瀕軺車不能載三馬，不能勝，即日以大車四馬建虎旗，載覇詣闕，臥則枕皷，以鑯着食，此皇天所以輔新室者也。莾聞惡之，留覇在所新豐，更其姓曰巨母氏，謂因文母太后而覇王符也娶長馮勤，字偉伯，魏郡繁陽人也。曽祖父揚，宣帝時為𢎞農太守，有八子皆為二千石，趙魏間榮之，號曰萬石君焉。兄弟形皆偉壯，唯勤祖父偃長，不滿七尺，常自耻短陋，恐子孫之似也，乃為子伉娶長妻，伉生勤，長八尺三寸，八嵗善計。姚期薦於光武，在事精勤，遂見親識，每引進，帝輙顧謂左右曰：「佳乎吏也！」後歴官司徒，號稱任職，勤母年八十，每㑹見，詔勅勿拜，令御者扶上殿，謂諸王曰：「使勤貴寵者，此母也」。魁岸郭太，字林宗，身長八尺，儀貌魁岸，善談論，聲音如鍾。 |
