9  | 本朝永乐三年，国王霭牙思丁遣使来朝。诏赐王苎丝、纱罗各四疋、绢八疋；王妃紵丝、纱罗各三疋、绢六疋。命使往天竺迎异僧。既至京兆，号大宝法王。居灵谷寺，颇著灵异，谓之神通。教人念唵嘛呢叭𡄣吽，于是信者昼夜念之。翰林侍读李继鼎曰：「若彼既有神通，当通中国语。何为待译者而后知乎？且其所谓唵嘛呢叭𡄣吽云者，乃云俺把你哄也。人不之悟耳。」 |
