尚书注疏卷三考证大禹臯陶谟序传大禹谋九功臯陶谋九徳○臣召南按九功为万古治民之经九徳为万古官人之凖六府三事箕子所陈洪范原于此矣三徳六徳周公所陈立政原于此矣又按史记夏本纪祇载臯陶谟则汉志谓司马迁从安国问古文亦未必然也儆戒无虞○朱子曰儆古文作敬开元改经文水火金木土榖惟修疏此以相克为次○王炎曰水以制火火以鍊金金以治木木以垦土土以生榖此六府之序也

正徳利用厚生惟和传正徳以率下○臣浩按传解正徳稍差若说正徳以率下当在修和府事之上不当与利用厚生竝列也宋儒解以正民之徳方与经义相合

劝之以九歌○苏轼曰古之治民者于其勤苦之事则歌之使㤀其劳九功之歌意其若豳诗也欤朱子曰九歌今忘其词恐是君臣相戒如赓歌之类此便是作韶乐之本臣召南按舜时韶乐后夔典之至其所以作乐之由则在大禹此文九歌即周官大司乐所谓九徳之歌九㲈之舞者也故史记曰禹乃兴九招之乐致异物鳯凰来翔又曰天下皆宗禹之明度数声乐也

人心惟危道心惟微○王应麟曰荀子解蔽篇尧舜之治天下不以事诏而万物成故道经曰人心之危道心之微注今虞书冇此语而云道经葢有道之经也疏立君所以安人人心危则难安○臣召南按𫝊疏以民心解人心即下文可畏非民之意其义亦通但下即言精一执中以论语大学中庸证之则程朱以人欲天理训人心道心为精当不易耳受命于神宗传神宗文祖之宗庙言神尊之○苏轼曰尧之所从受天下者文祖舜之所从受天下者神宗受天下于人必告于其人之所从受者礼曰有虞氏禘黄帝而郊喾祖颛顼而宗尧则神宗为尧明矣臣召南按孔传及疏但言是舜之宗庙不言是谁亦阙疑之义然苏氏直指帝尧确已

禹乃会羣后誓于师曰疏告誓于衆○告誓监本讹告书又不恭敬王命讹至命今并改正

又疏舜受终之后万事皆舜主之舜自廵狩不禀尧命○臣召南按舜之廵狩恐亦是禀承尧命非自专也舜曰觐羣后禹曰会羣后其为摄位一耳又疏但愚人所好必同于民贤求其心佞从其欲以贤为恶谓佞为善○臣浩按数句疑有讹误按文应作但愚人好恶不同于民贤拂其心佞从其欲各本并然姑仍之

七旬有苖格疏事势同耳○势监本讹瞽今改正臯陶谟曰若稽古臯陶○王应麟曰若稽古称尧舜禹三圣而臯陶与焉舜以天下逊禹禹独逊臯陶孟子论道之正传亦曰若禹臯陶则见而知之又曰舜以不得禹臯陶为已忧子夏亦曰舜举臯陶观于谟而见臯陶之学之粹也

能哲而惠何忧乎驩兠疏马融云禹为父隐故不言鲧也○臣浩按马融说史记注引之作康成语彰厥有常吉哉○王应麟曰臯陶言彰厥有常吉哉周公言庻常吉士召公言吉士吉人帝王用人之道一言以蔽之曰吉舜所举曰元曰恺吉徳之实也天叙有典勑我五典五敦哉天秩有礼自我五礼有庸哉𫝊天次秩有礼当用我公侯伯子男五等之礼以接之○吕祖谦曰典礼出于天天命之谓性也曰敦曰庸修道之谓教也时澜曰命徳讨罪皆不云我者见赏罚之纯乎天也臣召南按圣学言天言性俱始于臯陶谟孔传以公侯伯子男五等解五礼未确五典即五伦五礼即五典之品式节文我敦我庸即经纶天下之大经也若五等爵列下文五服五章中已该括矣
