46  | 自杨邠等以羽翼刘氏之宿将，威振朝廷，权行疆内，而一旦伏尸阙下，如圈豚之就烹；于是而所谓功臣者，始知人主自有其魁柄，不待战争，而可刈权奸若当门之草。故郭氏之兴，王峻、侯益之流，不敢复萌跋扈之心；而李谷、范质、魏仁浦乃得以文臣衔天宪制阃帅之荣辱生死。柴氏承之，樊爱能等疾趋赴市，伏死欧刀，而人不惊为剙举，邠、章、弘肇之诛，实倡其始也。有邠、章、弘肇之诛，而后樊爱能等之辟，伸于俄倾，而众心允服；有爱能等之戮，而后石守信辈以得释兵保禄位为幸，宋之中外载宁者三百载。呜呼！业、允明之不量而亟杀权臣也，殆天牖之以靖百年飞扬盘踞之恶习乎！抑事会已极，无往不复，自然之数也。 |
