22  | 臿顏師古曰：鍬也。所以開渠者。或曰削，有所守也。《唐韻》作疀，俗作臿，同作插。《爾雅》曰：，謂之疀。《方言》雲：燕之東北，朝鮮洌水之間，謂之，宋魏之間，謂之鏵，或謂之鍏。江淮南楚之間，謂之臿。趙魏之間，謂之喿。皆謂鍬也。然多謂之臿。蓋古謂臿，今謂鍬，一器二名，宜通用。《淮南子》曰：禹之時，天下大水，禹執畚臿，以為民先。《前漢·溝洫誌》白渠歌曰：「舉臿為雲，決渠為雨。」 |
