3  | 武昌路，上。唐初為鄂州，又改江夏郡，又升武昌軍。宋為荊湖北路。元憲宗末年，世祖南伐，自黃州陽羅洑，橫橋梁，貫鐵鎖，至鄂州之白鹿磯，大兵畢渡，進薄城下，圍之數月，既而解去，歸即大位。至元十一年，丞相伯顏從陽羅洑南渡，權州事張晏然以城降，自是湖北州郡悉下。是年，立荊湖等路行中書省，並本道安撫司。十三年，設錄事司。十四年，立湖北宣慰司，改安撫司為鄂州路總管府，並鄂州行省入潭州行省。十八年，遷潭州行省于鄂州，移宣慰司於潭州。十九年，隨省處例罷宣慰司，本路隸行省。大德五年，以鄂州首來歸附，又世祖親征之地，改武昌路。戶一十一萬四千六百三十二，口六十一萬七千一百一十八。至元二十七年抄籍數。領司一、縣七。 |
