4  | 會稽李旡心伯太史慈銘《越縵堂日記》□□卷，上海商務印書館石印手跡本，中有云：「予嘗謂自程朱生後，天下氣象為之一變。束髮之儒，恥事兩姓，曳柴之女，羞醮二夫，尤其明效大驗。」云云。聲木謹案：太史此數語最為扼要。程朱之理，所以有益於人家國，亙萬世而不變者，正在於此。若此理不明，天下胥為洪水猛獸，人道滅絕久矣。 |
