93  | 正光末，三秦反叛，侵及三輔。時承平既久，人不習戰。苗以隴兵強悍，且群聚無資，乃上書以為：「食少兵精，利於速戰；糧多卒眾，事宜持久。今隴賊猖狂，非有素蓄，雖據兩城，本無德義，其勢在於疾攻，日有降納，遲則人情離阻，坐受崩潰。夫飆至風起，逆者求萬一之功；高壁深壘，王師有全制之策。今且宜勒大將，深溝高壘，堅守勿戰。別命偏師，精卒數千，出麥積崖以襲其後，則水幵、岐之下，群妖自散。」於是詔苗為統軍，與別將淳于誕出梁、益，隸行臺魏子建。子建以苗為郎中，仍領統軍，深見知待。 |
