1  | 明袁忠徹編。忠徹，鄞縣人。父珙，字庭玉，號柳莊，精於相法，嘗決成祖當有天下。及即位，擢官太常寺丞。忠徹傳其父術，亦仕至尚寶少卿。《明史方技傳》附見珙傳中。史稱所著有《人相大成》，今未見。是編乃宣宗命採古來相人有驗者裒為一書，至景泰二年始奏進。所錄上自三皇，下迄明代，又自作象人賦一首附之。夫相術精微，心傳神會，捃拾典故，僅得其粗。且其編次體例，頗嫌淆混。如以季友、老聃以上屬之三代，以孔子、顏、曾而下系之列國，殊為強生分別。至宓羲蛇身人首，神農人身牛首諸說，緯書妄記，本屬荒唐，亦並列之，尤失持擇。若乃文君臉似芙蓉，眉如遠山，亦入相法，則幾於笑具矣。 |
