《畫筌析覽》
1  | 笪江上先生《畫筌》一篇，言情理確，久為藝林所珍。第讀者猶苦其章段連翩，論說互雜，如睹珍貝於波斯，逢林壑於山陰道上，目不暇窮，而意靡專屬。或曰：「維揚有富家子就請業，日示數語，積而成編，固未訂也。」予不文非敢剖截先哲文字，顧欲便於子弟尋繹，不得不為標目分則，而全篇皆偶句，每論此條倏及彼，歷後復涉前，顛倒數釋，亦不得已也。計分十則，第九曰雜論，以一偶中兼論二物，或三四物，分之不得故也。十曰總論，則皆匯其泛論，而非專指者也。至其淺而盡曉，冗而非要，及人物、花卉、鳥獸、蟲魚之論而未詳者刪之。每則後附以愚論，多寡不齊，雖無所補，而要皆前人所未及者。第名曰《析覽》，則因愚論不足重輕故也。先生丹徒人，名重光，字在辛，自號江上外史。順治壬辰進士，官儉都御史。予向居其鄉，多見真跡，皆神與古會，非深入畫禪，能道此中三昧耶？嘉慶甲子上巳，雨生湯貽汾識。 |
