3  | 是編載尺牘語錄及雜文，附論策數首，大抵講學之語，故以証學為名。觀其論佛仙雲，秦、漢以遠，不複知道為何物，而佛之教能守其心性之法。及至達摩西來，單傳直指，儒生學士從此悟入，然後稍接孔脈云云。其授儒入墨，誣誕實甚。艾南英嘗作文待序曰：蓋自摘取良知之說，而士稍異學矣。然予觀其書不過師友講論，立教明宗而已，未嘗以入制舉業也。其徒龍溪、緒山闡明其師之說，而又過焉，亦未嘗以入制舉業也。然則誰為之始歟？吾姑為隱其姓名，而又詳乙注其文，使學者知以宗門之糟粕為舉業之俑者，自斯人始云云。顧炎武《日知錄》嘗考南英所乙注者，即起元文也。然則起元變亂先儒，其流毒且及於經義矣。 |
