4  | 丙申，昧爽臨事畢，遂明。見山上霞光彩映，泛泛煒煒，頗為奇玩，稍頃，又頓陰，霏孁鍳口，雨乃急下。期以飯後往觀百丈岩，又忽杲然出日。向廟西山行十五里，皆涉澗躡礫，肩棘踵莽而入。時聞鳥聲清弄於林間，意為奇羽逸翮，而薈蔽不可睹。至於岩下，岩削立百丈，廣數十丈，瀑布泉自中而下，蜿蜒垂動，宛如玉龍；湍奔流迅，轟轟作響；又若飛雨倒空，沫沫四下。並泉石常沾苔潤蘿，下匯為澄潭，幅員十餘丈。中有大石，色皆青蔥可愛。坐岩下，命從者汲泉烹陽羨茶以飲，甘馨清美，暢達肺腑。又擇岩石可大書者二所，在泉之面，高二丈許；泉之北，高丈許。乃伐木為梯，餘登而書，惟臣在下視之，為餘凜凜。南書「瀑布泉」，北書「百丈岩」。潭之石二，為書「飛虹」、「流電」。篆畢，惟臣持酒觴餘於潭上，坐石仰對飛泉，意象覺在世表。因嘆古今遨游之土，但知廬山開元之有瀑布泉耳，而此泉亦為瀑布，且出自東鎮，乃泯爾無聞。殆地僻林奧，人跡罕臻，故奇瑋之士，偶無所遇歟？抑造化秘惜，不欲翕露，待時而顯歟？然則天下之物，體同而顯晦異者，豈獨茲泉哉！ 山出三泉：一為沭水，出山後，流經沂水縣，東北達於莒，入沂州；一為汶水，出東麓，東南流入安丘；一為彌水，出西麓，一名巨洋水，國語謂之具水，袁宏謂之巨昧，王韶以為巨篾，東北流至益都、壽光，入於海，即此瀑布泉也。 |
