27  | 《明史占城传》曰：国无霜雪，四时皆似夏，草木常青，民以渔为业，无二麦，力穑者少，故收获薄国，人皆食㯽榔，终日不离口。不解朔望，但以月生为初，月晦为尽，不置闰，分昼夜为十更，非日中不起，非夜分不卧，见月则饮酒歌舞为乐，无纸，笔用羊皮，捶薄熏黒，削细竹蘸白灰为字，状若蚯蚓。有城郭甲兵人，性狠而狡，贸易多不平，户皆北向，民居悉覆茅檐，髙不得过三尺，部领分差等，门髙卑亦有限，饮食秽汚鱼，非腐烂不食，酿不生蛆，不为羙人。体黒，男蓬头，女椎结，俱跣足，王鎻里人，崇释教，嵗时采生人胆入酒中，与家人同饮，且以浴身，曰通身是胆。其国人采以献王，又以洗象目，每伺人于道，出不意急杀之，取胆以去，若其人惊觉，则胆已先裂，不足用矣。置衆胆于器，华人胆輙居上，故尤贵之。五六月间，商人出，必戒备。王在位三十年，则避位入深山，以兄弟子侄代而已，持斋受戒，告于天曰：我为君无道，愿狼虎食我，或病死，居一年无恙，则复位如初。国中呼为昔嚟马、蛤剌，乃至尊至圣之称也，国不甚富，惟犀象最多。乌木降香，樵以为薪棋，楠香独産其地一山，酋长遣人守之，民不得采，犯者至断手。有鰐鱼潭狱疑不决者，令两造骑牛过其旁曲者，鱼輙跃而食之，直者即数往返，不食也。有尸头蛮者，一名尸致鱼，本妇人，惟无瞳神为异，夜中与人同寝，忽飞头食人秽物，来即复活，若人知而封其颈，或移之他所，其妇即死。国设厉禁，有而不告者，罪及一家。 |
