508  | 注解：滑也。此以叠韵为训。字从□水。水在手中，下澑甚利也。与辵部达字义近，皆他达切。周易泰，通也。否，塞也。左传汏輈及鼓跗著于丁宁，汏輈以贯笠毂。皆滑之意也。滑则宽裕自如，故引伸为緃泰，如论语泰而不骄是也。又引伸为泰侈，如左传之汏侈，西京赋之心奓体泰是也。汏卽泰之隶省，隶变而与淅米之汏同形。作汰者误字。从廾水，会意。大声。他葢切。十五部。按隶作泰，字形、字音、字义皆与古绝异。夳，古文泰如此。按当作夳。从仌，取滑之意也。从大声，转写恐失其真矣。后世凡言大而以为形容未尽则作太，如大宰俗作太宰，大子俗作太子，周大王俗作太王是也。谓太卽说文夳字。夳卽泰，则又用泰为太。展转貤缪，莫能諟正。 |
