| 32 | 古名字作□从卩从口疑與命字為一字命字从亼从卩从口因名字義専故加亼以別之古命字本只作□耳以聲相命曰名故有所指而名之則去聲謂其所指之名則平聲既以名名此物則不能移於他物故借為命而有之之義孟子其間必有名世者史記云信命世之宏才索隠注云命者名也言賢人有名於世也按此但知訓命為名不知史記之所謂命世即孟子之所謂名世漢人去古未逺故其字義尚通用其曰名世者謂以天下為己任經世大業皆此人命而有之云耳史記信陵君𫝊云諸侯之客進兵法公子皆名之故世俗稱魏公子兵法又董仲舒奏云限民名田又鄧通𫝊云不得名一錢皆此義又世說云天生劉伶以酒為名名即命也小篆作□訛□為□故後人失其義 |
