宣和奉使髙麗圖經卷十八宋 徐兢 撰

臣聞髙麗地濵東海當與道山仙島相距不逺其民非不知向慕長生久視之教苐中原前此多事征討無以清浄無為之道化之者唐祚之興尊事混元始祖故武徳間髙麗遣使丐請道士至彼講五千文開釋𤣥微髙祖神堯竒之悉從其請自是之後始崇道教踰於釋典矣大觀庚寅天子眷彼遐方願聞妙道因遣信使以羽流二人從行遴擇通達教法者以訓導之王俣篤於信仰政和中始立福源觀以奉髙真道士十餘人然晝處齋宮夜歸私室後因言官論列稍加法禁或聞俣享國日常有意授道家之籙期以易西教其志未遂若有所待然

道士之服不以羽衣用白布為裘皂巾四帯比之民俗特其袖少褒裕而已

浮圖之教始出天竺遂傳四夷其法崇盛髙麗雖在海東聞自清涼法眼一枝東渡之後僧徒頗知性理嘗於普濟寺僧堂見其揭榜示衆大畧云言不足以載道久矣大千經卷皆藥病之說正法眼藏無所付囑世尊於是舉花而示有微笑者至於子孫言辯相示謂之談禪無乃妄乎靈山之㑹唯一迦葉其可容易期於衆人昔人猶愛羊存而禮之大意不忘又況言說之筌足以得其意哉抑聞之說詩者貴在以意逆志吾宗亦然葢言以索意意之所隨不可以言傳則亦在乎黙而識之尚何數數於文言之末乎觀凡數百言湥契宗㫖佛像供具皆悉脩潔幡華繒葢行列有序大經則有華嚴般若小者不可悉數亦有本翻自中國能為華言者嘗令誦之歴歴可聽至其梵唄則又鴃舌不復可辨矣其鐃鈸形制小而聲悲至其螺聲則洪大如號焉先是元豐間上節使臣宋宻歿於紫燕島自後使至必於濟物寺飯僧致祭上節以次羅拜墓下比者銜命至彼亦襲前例雖存殁恩義理固宜爾然人心初到異邦逺懐鄉國遽覩客殯無不霑灑葢出使絶域唯遼東為難海洋阻隔危險萬態得獲全濟復命于朝豈不幸歟自非倚仗闕二字王靈則其不葬於蛟蜃之腹者幾希豈釋氏專能持䕶哉今圖其衣服制度以考同異云

國師之稱葢如中國之有僧職綱維也其上一等謂之王師王見則拜之皆服出水衲袈裟長袖偏衫金䟦遮下有紫裳鳥革鈴履人物衣服雖畧與中華同但麗人大抵首無枕骨以僧祝髮乃見之頗可駭訝晉史謂三韓之人初生子便以石壓其頭令扁非也葢繇種類資稟而然未必因石而扁

三重和尚長光律師之類也服紫黃貼廂福田袈裟長袖偏衫下亦紫裳位在國師之下講說經論傳習性宗擇聰惠辨博者為之

阿闍黎大徳

阿闍黎大徳位降三重和尚一等分𨽻教門職事其服短袖偏衫壊色掛衣伍條下有黃裳國師三重不過數人而阿闍黎一等人數極衆未究厥㫖沙彌比丘

沙彌比丘自幼出家未經受具壊色布衣亦無貼廂戒律既髙方易紫服以第遷升乃有衲衣葢髙麗僧衣唯以磨衲為重耳

在家和尚不服袈娑不持戒律白紵窄衣束腰皂帛徒跣以行間有穿履者自為居室娶婦鞠子其於公上負載器用掃除道路開治溝洫脩築城室悉以從事邉陲有警則團結而出雖不嫺於馳逐然頗壯勇其趨軍旅之事則人自褁糧故國用不費而能戰也中間契丹為麗人所敗正賴此輩其刑餘之役人髙麗以其髠削鬚髮而名和尚耳
