1  | 明威宗烈皇帝，实为三代盛时守成之令主，其励精图治之勤，方之成、康，有过无不及焉，况于文、景，况于后代乎？而究归于亡国丧身者，天也！非人也！然国君死社稷为人伦之极，则千古无有践其言者，而一人独能之，盖天欲予以立极之名，而若使其生平犹有失德，则人未免有恨焉。赋之以令主之德，全之以成仁之节。自古无不亡之国，天以高皇帝得国之正，而使之亡亦不失其正，天之所以待我高皇帝之厚也！ |
