56  | 張縉彥言：「江浙自舊撫熊奮渭潦倒之後，海上僅有虛名，民壯則多人奴役占，鄉勇則虛應故事，將領則總纛虛懸，參將以下皆紈?，儲備則鋒朽藥銷，餉供則奇荒大疫，道殣相望，豈直一方之利害而已。」 |
| 72 | 初六乙丑，賊圍太原。時余應桂初聞平陽破，諸將皆遁，太原無一兵守城。賊圍三日，以數人上城，開門而入，賊移檄遠近。有云：「君非甚暗，孤立而煬蔽恆多；臣盡行私，比黨而公忠絕少。甚至賄通官府，朝廷之威福日移；利入戚紳，閭左之脂膏盡竭。」又云：「公侯皆食肉纨绔，而恃為腹心；宦官悉齕糠犬豚，而借其耳目。獄囚纍纍，士無報禮之思；徵斂重重，民有偕亡之恨。」人讀之多為扼腕。而朝臣若處夢中，惟薦某人營某缺門戶苞苴是務。有識之士，無不寒心。 |
