1  | 郭曰：今鯢魚似鮎四腳，前似彌㺅、後似狗、聲如小兒啼。大者長八九尺引之謹案：此卽人魚也《水經》伊水《注》曰：《廣志》曰鯢魚聲如小兒嗁有四足形如鱧，可以治牛，出伊水也司馬遷謂之人魚故其著《史記》曰：始皇帝之葬也以人魚膏為燭徐廣曰：人魚似鮎而四足卽魚魚也《史記·秦始皇紀》《正義》引《異物志》曰人魚似人形長三尺餘不堪𠊊皮利於鮫魚項上有小穿氣從中出秦始皇家中以人魚膏為燭卽此魚也出耵海中然人魚之名不始於此〈北山經〉曰決汝之水其中多人魚其狀如鯨魚四足其音如嬰兒𠊊之無瘕疾郭彼《注》曰：或曰：人魚卽鯢也似魴而四足聲如小兒啼是古謂鯢魚為人魚也或謂之鳎《漢書·司馬相如傳》禺禺鮌鳎郭彼《注》曰：鳎鯢魚也似魴有四足聲如嬰兒義竝與此注同邢邵二疏竝以晚為鯨晚之晚邵又引《管子》晚以為殽皆非也又案：《釋文》假音遐《唐石經》及諸本亦作假而《初學記》引《爾雅》作假字從役北户錄亦云：觀大者謂之經音役引《爾雅注》鯢似鮎四足聲似小兒時開儼營雙切魚名有四足出文字集略《集韻》蝦魚名有四足如龜而行疾其字皆作鰕而讀如役與今本異字異音未知孰是。 |
