22  | 皣幽王嬖褒姒而黜申后，申后怨而作是詩。二章言「英英白雲，露彼菅茒。天步艱難，之子不猶。」幽王嬖寵妾而廢正嫡，無恩之甚。申后方謂王以天步艱難之故不能如白雲之露菅茅，不怨王之無恩，而歸咎於天步之艱難，厚之至也。至三章言彪池之浸稻田，四章言桑薪之烘于煁，一章峻於一章，而其意漸迫，此所謂敦厚温柔詩之教也。 |
