109  | 初四日，殺毓賢於蘭州。賢已論威新疆，至道中，乃當斬，令甘肅按察使何福堃監刑。始拳匪起山東，李秉衡提倡之。秉衡以鄆城攻教堂，德持之，落職，遂切齒於外人。賢代秉衡，翼亂民尤至，詫為神，王公貴人及太后左右皆信之。而山東人官京師者王懿榮李端遇又翕然稱其忠，相附和。故事急時，太后猶詔山東召老團。語云"涓涓不絕，遂成江河"，賢之謂矣！而曾廉王龍文獨為之頌冤。甘肅布政使李廷簫懼誅，已先死。毓賢之戮教士也，至五十餘人，廷簫貪左右之，飲金屑自殺。 |
