《荔枝譜》
1  | 初種畏寒，方五六年，深冬覆之以護霜霰。福州之西三舎曰水口，地少加寒已不可殖。大畧其花春生，蔌蔌然白色其色，多少在風雨時與不時也。有間歲生者，謂之歇枝；有仍歲生者，半生半歇也。春雨之際，傍生新葉，其色紅白。六七月時，色已變緑，此明年開花者也。今年實者，明年歇枝也。最忌麝香，或遇之花實盡落。其熟未經採摘，蟲鳥皆不敢近；或已取之，蝙蝠蜂蟻爭來蠧食。園家有名樹，旁植四柱小樓，夜棲其上，以警盜者。又破竹五七尺，揺之答答然，以逼蝙蝠之屬。 |
| 9 | 何家紅：出漳州何氏，世為牙校。嘗有郡將全樹買之，樹在舎後將熟，其子日領卒數十人穿其堂房，乃至樹所。其來無時舉家伏藏，欲即伐去而不忍，今猶存焉。 |
