泰常元年春二月丁未，姚兴死。三月己丑，长乐王处文薨。夏四月壬子，大赦，改元。庚申，河间王修薨。五月甲申，彗星二见。六月丁巳，北巡。秋七月甲申，大猎于牛川，发釡山，临殷繁水，南观于九十九泉。戊戍，车驾还宫。辛亥晦，日有蚀之。九月，晋刘裕溯河伐姚泓，遣部将王仲徳从陆道至梁城。兖州刺史尉建畏懦，弃守北渡，仲徳遂入滑台。诏将军叔孙建等度河，耀威斩尉建于城下。冬十一月戊寅，起蓬台于北苑。十二月，南阳王良薨。二年春正月甲戍朔，日有蚀之。二月丙午，诏使者廵行天下，观风俗，问其所苦。是月，西凉李暠死。五月，西廵至云中，遂济河，田于大漠。秋七月乙亥，车驾还宫。乙酉，起白台于城南，髙二十丈。是月，晋刘裕灭姚泓。冬十月癸丑，豫章王䕫薨。十一月己酉，诏河东、河内购泓子弟播越人间者。
