150  | 九月十七日，欽派順天鄉試複試閱卷大臣。十月初四日，欽派順天武鄉試較射大臣。武鄉試分四圍，王大臣分較。公所較中式者五十二名。二十六日，率同鄉京官具摺謝恩，為水災奉旨蠲緩錢糧。是歲東南各省大水，民飢，江南、浙江、湖北均展期，九月舉行鄉試。湖南賊匪李沅發倡亂於新寧，戕官據城，分擾黔、粵邊境，粵逆亦從此萌芽矣。先是，江公忠源在籍，擒獲會匪雷再浩，遂以知縣揀發浙江署秀水縣事，辦理賑災及保甲，甚得民譽。公聞新寧之亂，恐匪黨尋仇及江公之家，遂致書江公，勸其棄官以赴家難。未幾而賊黨潰竄，江公家亦無損焉。 |
| 151 | 十一月十五日，聞祖考星岡公之訃，請假兩月，設位成服。星岡公之卒以十月初四日，壽七十有六歲，葬於八斗衝，遷王恭人之柩附葬。 |
