19  | 崇厚亦奏疏自請入都陛見。初九日，公與毛公會奏羅淑亞回京緣由，請中外一體，堅持定見。并將連日在津會議問答情形，咨報總理衙門。又奏請將福建船局購辦京米，截留二萬石，存儲津郡，以備李鴻章軍營及劉銘傳全軍之用。時李公鴻章督軍至潼關，馳摺奏稱：洋人照會內稱「天津府縣幫同行凶，主使動手」等語，所聞得自何人？所查得有何據？必須將府縣如何幫同主使證據交出，由中外大員會同提集，當堂質訊，乃可以成信讞而服眾心。如果該府縣等有實在重情，亦不能曲為寬貸。十二日，奉上諭：「羅淑亞無理要挾，所請府縣抵償一節，萬無允准之理。已傳諭錢鼎銘將張光藻等解赴天津，并令曾國藩等取具該府縣等親供，以期迅速了結。」欽此。十三日，奉上諭：「崇厚著即來京。三口通商大臣，著毛昶熙暫行署理。」欽此。丁公日昌奉旨啟行北上，馳摺奏稱：自古以來，局外之議論，不諒局中之艱難。然一唱百和，亦足以熒聽而撓大計，卒之事勢決裂。 |
