《卷一》
96  | 洪武二十一年十一月壬子，命禮都給賜國子生鈔。北平、陜西、山西、山東、廣東、廣西、四川、福建之人，在監三年以上者，人五錠；二年，人二錠。俾製冬衣。復命工部於國子監前造別室一區，凡百餘間，具灶釜、床榻以處諸生之有疾者，令膳夫二十人給役。侍臣進曰：「陛下作興學校，推心憫下，無所不至，從古未有。」太祖曰：「諸生去鄉土，離親戚，遠來務學，日久衣必敝。或有疾，無人具湯藥。朝廷作養之，必使之得所，然後可必其成材。蓋天生人材，皆為世用，人君育材，當有其實。惟能有以作養之，則未有不成材者也。」 |
