| 24 | 孔鏞者長洲人家本闕里父友諒永樂間庶吉士為令雙流人陋不知學諒教之詩書選秀儁親為講授自是始有籍於朝仕至通顯者鄰有寇逸境上自行掩之悉得計上對簿功最 上復策之對又善令入侍未久卒鏞以景泰間進士初為連山令故越在榛莽寓治他所?剪荊棘立邑屋招懷綏集使治耕稼務以靖之境因漸闢道路無壅遷守高州高亦數中夷寇鏞至即發其子弟率厲之躬自行奮擊摧鋒所向輒奔斬捕首虜五百餘並得所掠民四百五十人降其眾萬餘劇賊鄧公長復合眾據茅城距高不十里所猝無兵度巳亟乃單騎往喻賊駭挺?夾道欲恐脅之鏞故徐行抵其所下馬據中坐極言利害令解散即為良民何阻兵勞苦為酋長尚恣睢未有降意鏞徧歷其壘曉以無為惑誤不得安田里從容歸夜漏巳深城中疑以沒賊望見公來大驚及晨自歸者萬酋長知眾散乃亦請命餘寇在雷游魚博白相繼破降之使者上其功遷按察廣東仍守其地以憂歸州人祠之 |
