| 32 | 張益者吳縣人少長於燕舉進士選為庶吉士預修史遷修撰進學士召入閣典機政正統間北征益與曹鼐並從嘗勸 上持重及師潰與鼐俱死益慷慨有志畧師出深憂之竟為中官振覆焉振亦死於師而人未知蓋非天敗振振實自敗也益為文立就軍中書符皆其草初與夏昶嗣初孟端同善藝事益為賦獨工昶遂罷不復晉意昶圖竹稱絕益亦絕不為也己巳之事誠猝不謀然兵久不用漸驕令少不能戢矣征伐未?非計而將帥之臣不無罪焉逮正統間有許銘者思溫孫也初為司馬屬後以都御史按邊馭兵以嚴將被罪者因嗾其下亂作死焉 |
