8  | 十四日壬子，上諭內閣曰：此次臺灣逆匪林爽文等糾眾謀逆，到處搶掠，義民鄉勇人等隨同官兵奮勇殺賊，守禦郡城，甚屬可嘉！業經降旨令該督等查明優賞。惟念逆匪滋事之初，經過地方，百姓田廬牲畜被其蹂躪劫掠，及避賊遷徒流離者，殊為可憫！亦宜一體加恩，普施惠澤。所有臺灣府全屬五十二年應徵地丁錢糧，悉行蠲免，以副朕優加軫恤之至意。並著該督撫接奉此旨，即日謄黃遍諭各處。該部遵諭速行。 |
