1  | 二月二十一日己未，黃仕簡奏言：逆首林爽文住居彰屬大里杙地方，其糾匪不法，多係烏合之眾。但此等海外跳梁，必足兵力長驅迅掃，乃可以破賊膽而壯軍威。若輕兵躁進，不特未合機宜，而小醜且轉滋抗拒。臣初到臺郡，因內地官兵尚未到齊，隨將現到兵丁派撥四郊要路添防，加緊堵截，保固府城，晝夜嚴督擒捕賊匪。嗣官兵續到，隨同日分遣前赴南、北二路，并力進剿。二十四日，據赴北路總兵柴大紀報到，克復諸羅縣城池，臣業經恭報在案。現在，惟有相機調度，務期速殲醜類，并嚴擒首逆各要犯解究重治，以靖海疆。 |
