15  | 皇后持統天皇立。諱高天原廣野，天智女，母蘇我達智娘。奉皇太子草壁稱制。三年太子薨，乃即位。崇尚儒術，頒新令二十二卷，點全國正丁四分之一習武。始置女官，賜皇女內親王號，授內命婦等位階，詔諸國勸植桑、苧、梨、栗、蕪菁。在位八年，傳位皇太孫，始稱太上天皇。文武天皇嗣，諱珂琉草壁，太子子，母元明。始釋奠于大學寮，定笞法，停賜位冠，易以位記。頒新律、度量，禁游手博戲，民獎孝順，舉賢良方正士。詔諸國兵士分十番，每番教習十日。始以親王知太政官事，列在左右大臣上。持統太上天皇崩，始用火葬。文武在位十一年崩。改元二：曰大寶，曰慶雲。遺詔舉哀三日，凶服一日。 |
