程大賓字汝見，歙縣人。萬厯元年，按察使講明理學，尤多實踐，言笑不苟，僚屬憚之。楊寅秋，字義叔，泰和人，宰相士竒元孫，由進士厯遷按察使。萬厯中，討播之役，寅秋監黔、蜀兵，與中丞郭子章計用安氏以剪其羽翼，乃檄安疆臣率所部兵従沙溪入戰，扵大水田，敗之，四方兵始合破其巢，賊平論功，寅秋為最，以勞卒於官，子章為請䘏，立忠勲祠以祀之。蕭象烈字無競，廬陵人，進士，崇禎間官貴州按察使，清介自持，平易近物，凡所讞鞫，務在原情，必婉轉開釋而後已。自奉甚約，布衣蔬食，有寒士所不能堪者，推天下清官第一，㑹黔人憤，擊水西目把事，連起大獄，象烈力為平反，忤直指意，被劾，落職去。張　燿陜西人，舉人。崇禎末，任按察流賊孫可望陷省城，燿同㕘議。曾益至，定畨與知州陳新第，約土司募士卒，為恢復計。未幾，賊陷州城，燿猶操刀巷戰，至日晡，力盡被執。賊將艾能竒謂之曰：「公我梓里也，幸降我」。燿叱曰：「汝為賊，我為朝臣安論？」梓里罵不屈，遂遇害。 以上按察使叅政。
