13  | 劉魁，字煥吾，號晴川，泰和人。由鄉舉嘉靖間判寶慶。五年，守鈞州。七年，貳潮州。六年，陞工部員外郎。上安攘十事，皆為要務，詔徙雷殿禁中。先生上疏請緩雷殿工作，以成廟建足邊僃。上怒，杖四十，入獄創甚，百戸戴經藥之，得不死。與楊斛山、周訥溪講學不輟。自壬寅至乙巳，凡四年秋八月上齋醮，神降於箕，為先生三人頌寃，釋之，未抵家而復逮十月還獄。又二年丁未，十一月五日夜，高元殿火，上怳忽，聞火中呼先生三人名氏，赦還家。先生受學於陽明卒業，東廓以直節著名。而陶融於學問李脈，泉言：「在鈞州與先生同僚一年，未嘗見其疾。言遽色。鄉人飲酒，令之唱曲，先生歌詩抑揚可聽。門人尤熙問為學之要，曰：「在立誠」。每舉陽明遺事，以淑門人言陽明轉人輕快。一友與人訟來，問是非，陽明曰：「待汝數日後，心平氣和，當為汝說」。後數日，其人曰：「弟子此時心平氣和，願賜敎陽。明曰：「既是心平氣和了，又敎甚麽？朋友在書院投壺陽，明過之，呼曰休離了。根問：陽明言動氣象。先生曰：只是常人黄德良說，陽明學問，初亦未成片段，因從遊者衆夾持起歇不得，所以成就如此有舉似先生者曰：也。是如此朋友之益甚。大主事黃洛村先生𢎞綱。 |
