2  | 元宗明道崇德文宣孝皇帝名璟，字伯玉，烈祖長子，母曰宋皇后。初名景通，風度高秀，幼工屬文。起家駕部郎中。累進諸衛大將軍。烈祖為齊王。立為王太子。固讓，升元初，烈祖受禪，封吳王，徙齊王。四年八月。立為皇太子。復國讓曰：前世以嫡庶不明，故早建元良，示之定分。如臣兄弟友愛，尚何待此，烈祖為下詔稱其守廉退之風。師忠貞之節，有子如此，予復何憂，赦殊死以下，臣民奉箋齊王，如太子禮。七年二月。烈祖病疽。秘之。人皆莫知。庚午。疾亟。大醫吳廷昭密遣人告帝。帝馳入宮，侍疾於東閣。是夕，烈祖崩，秘不發喪。而下詔命帝監國，大赦，頒齎有差，丙子，始宜遺詔。 |
