3  | 五十二年春二月，殺翰林院編修戴名世，戮學士方孝標屍。時詔修明史已數十餘年，而館臣採錄遺書，率多忌諱，致屢裁稿而未告成。名世心竊痛之，因著孑遺錄以見其概，又興其門人金生書，謂以弘光之帝南京，隆武之帝閩越，永歷之帝兩粵與滇黔地方數千里，首尾十七八年，曾不得如昭烈之在蜀，帝昺之在厓，史家猶得以備書其事，近日方寬文字之禁，而天下所以避忌諱者，萬端終明之世三百年無史，豈不可嘆？書中又引孝標所著滇黔紀聞，稱其考據確實，是書載入其南山集中，刊行已久。至是都御史趙申喬疏摘其語以聞，名世族皆棄市，孝標戮屍，其子登嶧雲，旅孫世槱并斬，族屬僉妻發遣，編修汪灝、方苞、方正玉、尤雲鍔、劉巖等因連獲遣者，凡三百餘人。金先生病死獄中，申喬發難，構此大獄。不及二年，其子鳳詔以官太原知府，受钜藏伏法。 |
