83  | 馬端臨《文獻通考》載《象山文集》二十八卷，《外集》四卷，并録袁燮序文。今觀此書，《外集》係五卷，其第五卷乃録孔煒、丁端祖所撰《諡議》二篇，然則《九淵外集》仍止四卷也。《文獻通考》不載楊簡、呉杰二序。按簡序作於寧宗開禧元年。燮序作於寧宗嘉定五年，相去已越八年之久。《呉杰序作於嘉定十三年，後燮序又經八載。《燮序稱為刋於倉司。而杰序則云：「聞建安狀元陳公子孫喜與人同其善，敬送上件文集，請用刋行，仍以二賢諡議次於其後」云云。是端臨所見者，係袁燮刋行之本。此本為陳氏所刋諡議，亦呉杰補録》非復袁本之舊矣。《外集》卷五後有辛巳嵗孟冬月安正書堂重刋木記。按嘉定十三年嵗在庚辰，則《木記》所紀辛巳當為嘉定十四年。但此書墨闇紙黝，決非宋本，當屬元時翻刻之書。考《宋史》九淵字子靜，撫州金谿人。登乾道八年進士第，歴官知荊門軍，卒諡文安。嘗與朱子論辨，所學多不合，門人楊簡、袁燮輩皆傳其學焉。楊簡字敬仲，慈谿人。乾道五年登進士第，授富陽主簿，㑹九淵道過，遂執弟子之禮。歴官至寶謨閣直學士，轉朝議大夫、慈溪縣男。繼以寶謨閣學士、大中大夫致仕，卒。袁燮字和叔，鄞縣人。入太學，登進士第，調江隂尉，官至寶文閣待制，進直學士，奉祀以卒。初入太學，陸九齡為學録，以道義相磨切。厥後見九齡之弟九淵，遂師事焉，學者稱之曰潔齋先生。呉杰，江西南城人，事蹟無考。 |
