44  | 乾嘉時，常州有毗陵七子之目，七子為洪亮吉、楊倫、孫星衍、黃景仁、趙懷玉、徐書受、呂星垣。惟徐呂二子，名氏稍晦。語見［鎮洋］畢秋帆尚書沅編《吳會英才集》中。聲木謹案：徐書受字尚之，監生，由四庫館議敘，撰《教經堂集》□卷。《蒲褐山房詩話》稱其詩取法在孟東野、張文昌間，然才情諧暢，兼效元白云云。呂星垣字叔訥，諸生，官河間縣知縣，撰《白雲草堂詩文鈔》□卷。《墨林今話》稱其工詩、古文詞，高古簡潔，自成一家。間作寫意花卉，自娛而已云云。然則兩人之廁名於七子之中，亦非偶然。江陰金溎生明府武祥《粟香五筆》云：「嘉道間，吾常知名之士推吳頡鴻嘉之、莊縉度眉叔、趙申嘉芸西、周儀顥叔、陸容新芙、徐廷華子麟、汪士進逸云，為毗陵後七子。」云云。後七子名氏不出於里巷，較之洪穉存太史亮吉諸人，相去天淵矣。 |
