146  | 江南內史舍人潘佑嘗言於國主曰：「富國之本，在厚農桑。」因請復井田之法，深抑兼并，有買貧者田，皆令歸之。又依《周禮》造牛籍，使盡闢曠土以種桑，薦衛尉卿李平判司農寺。國主素慕古治，悉從之。平急於成功，施設無漸，人不以為便，國主亦中悔，罷之。時國勢日削，用事者充位無所為，佑憤切，上疏極論時政，歷詆大臣將相，詞甚激訐，而獨薦平，請以判司會府事，群議益不平。佑七疏不止，且請歸田廬，國主命佑專修國史，悉罷它職。冬十月壬午，佑復上疏曰：「臣乃者繼上表章，凡數萬言，詞窮理盡，忠邪洞分。陛下力蔽姦邪，曲容諂偽，遂使家國愔愔，如日將暮。古有桀、紂、孫皓，破國亡家，孽自己作，尚為千古所笑。今陛下取則姦回，敗亂國家，是陛下為君，不及桀、紂、孫皓遠矣。臣不能與奸臣雜處，事亡國之主，願賜誅戮以謝中外。」國主大怒。 |
