80  | 己亥，馬軍副都指揮使、淮康節度使張茂實，落管軍，知曹州。初，趙概為御史中丞，言茂實不宜典宿衛，未聽；及概為樞密副使，復言之。而言者又劾茂實販易公使所遣卒殺人於外，茂實因以老自請解兵權，始命出守。先是翰林侍讀學士劉敞嘗奏言：「張茂實本周王乳母子，嘗養宮中，故往年市人以狂言動茂實，頗駭物聽；近者韓絳又以讒說傾宰相，重搖人心。是一茂實之身，遠則為小人所指目，近則為群臣所疑懼。假令茂實其心如丹，必無它腸，亦未能家至戶曉也。莫若解茂實兵權，處以外郡，於茂實不失富貴，而朝廷得遠嫌疑，策之善者也。昔王郎自稱劉子輿，盧芳自號劉文伯，因疑飾偽，未必皆有犯上之心，但流言驅扇，群情眩惑。臣忝近列，方當遠出，心之所疑，不敢不極論。乞以臣言密付執政商量。」久之，茂實乃罷。 |
