87  | 帝之即位也，召華山隱士陳摶入見。冬十月，復詣闕，帝益加禮重，謂宋琪等曰：「摶獨善其身，不干勢利，所謂方外之士也。在華山已四十餘年，度其年當百歲，自言經五代亂離，幸天下承平，故來朝覲。與之語，甚可聽。」因遣使送至中書。琪等從容問摶曰：「先生得玄默修養之道，可以化人乎？」對曰：「摶山野之人，於時無用，亦不知神仙黃白之事，吐納養生之理，無術可傳於人。假令白日上升，亦何益於世？主上龍顏秀異，博達古今，真有道仁聖之主也，正君臣同德、興化致治之秋，勤行修練，無出於此。」琪等表上其言，帝益喜。甲申，賜摶號希夷先生，令有司增葺所止臺觀。帝屢與屬和詩什，數月，遣還。 |
